SHARK
CRYOGLOW

How do you make people feel a technology they’ve never experienced before? That was the challenge behind the UK launch of Shark’s CryoGlow mask—a next-generation skincare device that combines advanced light therapy with cooling technology. Our goal wasn’t simply to demonstrate product features.

We needed to transform complex skincare science into a visually compelling experience that felt aspirational, premium, and instantly understandable.

Balancing Beauty and Science

Working closely with Shark, I helped develop a creative approach that balanced scientific credibility with cinematic beauty. Every frame was designed to communicate the product’s innovation while maintaining the elegance and emotional appeal expected of a luxury skincare campaign.

Bringing Technology to Life

We combined advanced CGI, digital tracking, projection mapping, and bespoke VFX treatments that visualized the mask’s light therapy in a way that felt both futuristic and believable. Custom light patterns wrapped dynamically across the skin, while carefully crafted reflections, pulses, and wavelength effects showcased the product's functionality without overwhelming the story. The result was a seamless integration of technology and beauty, allowing viewers to intuitively understand how CryoGlow works while remaining immersed in the visual experience.

Staying True to the Science

The project demanded extensive research, experimentation, and collaboration across creative, production, and post-production teams. Every detail—from lighting behavior to animation timing—was meticulously refined to ensure the technology felt authentic while elevating the product into something aspirational.

Connecting with the Consumer

The final campaign positioned CryoGlow as more than a skincare device. It became a striking visual expression of Shark’s growing innovation in the beauty space, demonstrating how thoughtful storytelling and cutting-edge execution can turn advanced technology into something consumers instantly connect with.
